About Us

The Art History StudentsÔÇÖ Association (AHSA) is the home base for Art History students and art lovers alike at the University of British Columbia. Throughout the year, we host a variety of social and professional events for students to mingle, form connections, and learn about the art world. Our main event is the annual Undergraduate Art History Symposium, which provides an opportunity for students to present their work in front of the department and have it published in the Undergraduate Journal of Art History and Visual Culture.

Members Benefits

This year, AHSA will be hosting a range of in-person and online events for students to socialize with like-minded people and talk to professionals in the art world. This includes our ÔÇÿSalon SeriesÔÇÖ events, movie nights, gallery tours, and many more. Additionally, as an AMS club, we participate in and assist with the initiative of the Arts Undergraduate Society. We are a student-run organization, making our events open to people from all kinds of academic backgrounds, given that they share a similar passion for art. For those who are interested in our events or joining the team, feel free to reach out and follow us on social media, we currently have positions available for a secretary and general executives.
