About Us

The purpose of the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES) Student Society is to facilitate community building within and beyond IRES, plan professional development opportunities, and offer academic, wellness, and advocacy support for IRES graduate students. The IRES Student Society also acts as a liaison with IRES staff and faculty, as well as the broader UBC community, to advocate on the behalf of students.
