Mission
Our mission is to promote Indian Classical/Fusion music within the Greater Vancouver area and let students showcase their talent at various events throughout the year. Our goal is to use Sargam as a platform to present the genre of Indian Classical music to individuals of various musical backgrounds and expand on the genre by fusing together various musical styles. We also encourage members to share their talents with others through frequent jam sessions so everyone can benefit from our members' wealth of knowledge.

Membership Benefits
By becoming a member you are able to be a part of club practices and perform at club events or events to which Sargam UBC receives invites. Members are also allowed to purchase merchandise, although this is dependent on interest.

To join the club, please join our Discord community and introduce yourself! Through our Discord, you'll be able to keep up with any club events and also meet other Sargam members.

More details required: Do you have any formal training in Indian Classical music or with any specific Indian instruments? Do you play any musical instruments or sing? If so, please state your background and how much experience you have. If not, let us know what you're interested in working on!
