AMS Club - Cultural, Religious, Social

Website Mission

Mission
This sociocultural club aims at bringing together the Coptic Orthodox community of students. The
club helps create a more familiar and homey atmosphere for students that have just joined the
university. The club is a great place for students to share their experiences and stories of Egypt and
its culture.It is also provides new younger students a great opportunity to meet and become friends
with more experienced senior students. We want to create a society of students that share an
interest towards Egyptian history, Coptic culture and Christian faith.
The club also serves as a portal to all students that are interested in learning more about the
Egyptian and Coptic society. We want to educate others about the richness and spirituality that the
Coptic Church has to offer in terms of books, language, hymnology and arts. We aim at objectively
portraying the Coptic Orthodox faith through Bible studies, general talks and other social and
spiritual gatherings.
