About Us

Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy (CSSDP) is a national grassroots network comprised of students and other young adults who are concerned about the negative impact our drug policies have on individuals, families and communities. CSSDP considers problematic drug use in society as a health issue and advocates for legal reform and appropriate health care responses to prevent and reduce harm from drug use. We mobilize and empower young people to participate in the political process, pushing for sensible policies to achieve a safer and more just future, while fighting back against counterproductive drug policies, particularly those that directly harm students and youth.
