UBC Music for Mental Health

Who We Are

Music for Mental Health is a Canadian non-profit organization, run by a dedicated and hardworking group of UBC students, that raises awareness and fundraises for various mental health issues through creating music. Since its founding in August of 2020, we have built everything we currently have from the ground up, including our official song releases and multiple collaborations with various organizations in our community. We strive to connect with our community through music, as well as a mutual understanding and passion toward destigmatizing issues in the realm of mental health.

As of July 16, 2021, we were certified by the Government of Canada as a federal not-for-profit corporation under the NFP Act. We will be working toward establishing chapters at universities across Canada (and potentially even internationally!) and engaging in a broad range of activities to raise as much awareness for mental health as we can.
