Hi [FIRST_NAME],
We hope you are having a good day. Thank you for joining us on Campusbase! Just a few steps remaining and you will be completely integrated into our club. Please follow the following steps to complete your membership! PLEASE IGNORE the following three points if you have already completed these items. Feel free to interact with our timeline!
1. Please send the $5 club membership to our treasurer Joyce Xie. This is her email: joyce68890608@gmail.com. If you are unable to e-transfer, contact Joyce, and she'll make accommodations. If you would like to be just associated with the club (campus base verification, no executive positions, no voting privileges), then send $3.

We are also having some events this term. Here is the timeline of our events:
1. Paired Paper Summary (Oct 18): Collaborate with our execs and/or other club members are we go over some of the current papers in the field of SCI research. We will form small groups to present and discuss the papers all together. This is a great way to dip your toes into journal clubs in a friendly, student-led environment.
2. Garage Book Sale (Nov 3): Want to cop some amazing second-hand deals while raising funds for a great cause? SCIA will be having a garage sale in early November. We will also be collecting donations leading up to the sale so check out our Instagram soon for drop-off dates and locations (if you donate 3 items or more, you'll be entered into a draw to win some gift cards!)
3. PI Presentations (End of November, date TBA): If you're interested in hearing from world-renowned researchers in the SCI field or getting into this discipline, look no further! At the end of November (date TBA), we will be having speakers from ICORD presenting on their current research. It will be a great networking event to learn more about what's going on in the clinical and preclinical side of SCI research.
Furthermore, we will also be sending out emails for inter-organizational collaborative events (with SCI BC and ICORD) soon.
We hope to see you soon and thanks again for showing interest in AMS SCIA!
Best Wishes,
Ali Hosseinzadeh
