We aim to make a place where every Jew is Family! Whether it is for a Shabbat meal, Holiday service or anything in between, Chabad is here for you. Always!

Chabad Jewish Student Centre serves the Jewish student population at UBC and Vancouver's local community colleges. We are part of a network of over 250+ Chabad centers on campuses worldwide.

Chabad campus center programming reflects a tolerant, non-judgmental environment, where open dialogue is welcome, and is a hallmark of Chabad's inclusiveness.

We strive to create a Jewish "home away from home" for all Jews on campus, a place where Jews of all backgrounds can find community, resources, a smorgasbord of Jewish events and rich opportunities for celebration and study. We want to ensure that all Jewish students graduate as stronger, more empowered Jews.

Mission
We are a 100% student-run club that manages the rooftop garden space and the community garden plots on the roof of the AMS Student Nest, the Student Union Building at the University of British Columbia. Founded in 2014, we are focused on creating community-minded experiences and opportunities for personal empowerment that also incorporate concepts of food justice and food security. We facilitate student and community capacity around food by producing food as sustainably as possible, and by hosting events and workshops that encourage interactions around food, culture, health, and sustainability. By engaging with UBCÔÇÖs diverse community, we hope to provide an avenue for knowledge sharing that enables dynamic ways to approach food system issues.

SPHR UBC is a non-profit, student-based organization that advocates on a strong social justice and decolonization platform to uphold the rights of the Palestinian people in the face of human rights violations and all forms of racism, discrimination, misinformation, and misrepresentation. Through awareness-raising, advocacy work, non-violent direct action, solidarity building, and the promotion of Palestinian identity, culture, and history, SPHR works to support and protect Palestinian human rights both locally and internationally.

Sprouts is a 100% volunteer and student-run organization. Through our many initiatives, we endeavor to make healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced food accessible to everyone on campus. These include our vegan cafe, CSA box (sprouts box), by-donation friday lunches (community eats), workshops, bulk buying program and more.
