Mission
Islamic Relief UBC is a student lead club working to implement the values of Islamic Relief Canada across the UBC Campus: mobilizing Canadians to transform more lives around the world in the most trusted manner. We are a humanitarian organization uplifted by Islamic morals such as compassion, community, and most of all, humanity- welcoming and serving all!

Because global change stems from local effort, we are working to empower our UBC community and the BC community at large through working alongside the IRC regional team in BC to foster community connections, and inspire outreach and volunteer work.

At UBC, not only will we strive to raise awareness and promote student engagement but also as a club we will be raising funds to sponsor an orphan child affected by war, bereavement, poverty or ill-health, offering them the chance for a better future, for years to come.

Whether big or small, at the end of the day a single generous act can bring multitudes of relief to someone. At IRC @ UBC we hope to build future leaders whose seeds of generous acts become someone’s trees of relief.

Membership Benefits
1. Only Active Members of this AMS Club shall be eligible to vote in executive elections or hold an executive position
2. Only Active Members of this AMS Club can apply for committee positions
3. Only Active Members of this AMS Club shall be eligible to receive discounts for exclusive events
4. Only Active Members of this AMS Club can receive certifications for training on courses offered by the club
