Our Mission:

1. To keep members up to date with recent scientific advancements through research presentations and discussions about medical genetics.

2. To connect undergraduates with Medgen graduate students to better prepare them for their academic careers

3. To help students identify interesting courses to take, potential research supervisors, and potential graduate programs to continue their genetic studies

4. Educate students regarding bioethical issues related to genetic engineering, gene therapy, genetic screening, etc.
