UBC Pre-Optometry is once again hiring for executive positions! We are searching for hardworking individuals who are interested in getting involved in a leadership role relating to optometry! The available positions are listed below with a brief overview of their responsibilities:
VP Internal:
- Bookings for events/meetings
- Conduct hiring process
- Plan and come up with events
VP External:
- Contact optometry schools
- Arrange info sessions
- Poll team for maximum attendance
- Contact/seek sponsorships
VP Marketing:
- Design posters, logos, cover photos for club events
- Monthly updates on current Optometry/Eye health related news/events
- Promote all club events through social media and maintain both Facebook and Instagram pages
Treasurer:
- Keep in contact with AMS and keeping track of club expenses (cash box, reimbursements, etc)
- Apply for grants
- Collect membership fees
