UBC A Cappella is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded land of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
Our story started in 2007: the UBC A Cappella Club was formed, comprising of one choir called "The Undeclared Majors." 16 years later, our club has grown to include four auditioned ensembles, one drop-in ensemble, and two competitive ICCA groups.
We are proud to be the largest Collegiate A Cappella collective in Canada.
A close-knit family of singers, songwriters, and vocal percussionists, our rehearsals are full of singing, collaborating, laughing and bonding with students from all faculties. Our repertoire is representative of the diverse musical influences brought to the group by our members, and we look forward to sharing it with you!
