Community service organizes and hosts all our volunteer opportunities and community outreach initiatives!
In November we collected clothing donations from UBC students and the public for the Downtown Eastside Women's shelter to provide clothes for those who need in most, when thy needed it most.
Our 2021/22 international project is regarding period poverty and women's health education in Ghana. Many go without proper menstrual knowledge and supplies. We're helping change that by providing re-usable pads and toolkits to help women worldwide.
We love to see smiles! On International Women's Day 2021 we gave flowers to anyone who needed one. We set up at two locations, on-campus at UBC for students studying hard and outside the BC Children's hospital for those who needed some cheer.

We have been visiting with seniors at local care homes via zoom! We love being able to connect with them safely to celebrate their birthdays or host trivia games! Want to be involved?

We fundraised for, built and distributed care packages around the Downtown Vancouver Eastside to those who needed it.
We hope to continue this project when COVID restrictions have eased and in-person classes have resumed. Stay tuned!
Although we were unable to gather this year because of Covid, we hope to continue in upcoming years!
In past years, we have gone to a local beach and cleaned up the garbage and debris there as one of our first community service activities! This was a great way to get to know our new members and kick off the year!
