The UBC Figure Skating Club is a community of figure skaters and skating enthusiasts alike. We organize athletic and social events related to figure skating and encourage the general student body to get involved with the sport we are so passionate about.
Our skaters range from STAR 1 to Senior from varying backgrounds including current competitors, coaches, and officials!
We offer on-ice and off-ice group classes for all club members to participate in!
Our yearly ice show is an amazing opportunity to show off your skills and practice your performance!
We host a variety of social events including competition viewing parties, motivation sessions, holiday parties, and more!
Our year end show went virtual last year! Skaters had the opportunity to record and submit their performances to create this incredible video showcasing all their talents!
The land the AMS Figure Skating Club at UBC is situated on has always been a place of learning for the Musqueam people, who for millennia have passed on their culture, history, and traditions from one generation to the next on this site. We are grateful to be able to further our club and our members on this land, and we hope to continue to honor the history of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm people through respectful participation and involvement.
