Ideator
Saleh conceptualized the idea of the BGSN while he was an MA student in Political Science at UBC. Before he left UBC to start Law School at Harvard, he registered the BGSN as an Affiliate Organization of the Graduate Student Society in April, 2021.
Co-founder
Francis co-founded the BGSN while he was a Masters of International Forestry (MIF) student and Master Card Foundation (MCF) Scholar at UBC in September, 2021. He was part of the founding members that brought the BGSN to life by organizing the first BGSN events in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Gretha co-founded the BGSN while she was a MIF student and a MCF Scholar at UBC in September, 2021. She was part of the founding members that brought the BGSN to life by organizing the first BGSN events in the 2021/2022 academic year.
Executive
Mikky served as an executive member of the BGSN from September, 2022 to November, 2023. When he wasn't helping with running the BGSN, he was in a lab doing what a PhD student in Cell and Developmental Biology does.
