Hi, we're Dive into UBC, a student-run organization and all-inclusive guide to the arts and culture scene at UBC Vancouver. Our aim is to promote and serve the arts and culture community on campus. We throw events, and showcase artists and groups to help drive students to participate in the growing and prominent arts and culture side of campus.

We highlight events on a weekly basis, spotlight spectacular artists on campus and collaborate to create events in order to connect students to the arts and culture that is ever-present but often missed at UBC. It focuses on the ever-shifting campus culture and creates space for students to be connected to their peers and their campus.

Mission
Engineers Without Borders UBC is a vast interdisciplinary team (including non-engineers) that works on a myriad of initiatives outside the typical hyper-technical work that engineering students normally pursue. We focus on generating long-lasting meaningful impact in the projects that we take on and work rigorously to promote the personal development of our members. We work on fostering community and building strong leaders.

EWB UBC has branches working on education with VancouverÔÇÖs youth, advocacy with local MPs, sustainability initiatives and wellness. We are passionate about discussing problems that we encounter as a community and take it one step further by formulating solutions and putting them into action.

We work on both local and global projects, ranging from fundraising to technology implementation in Sub-Saharan Africa. There is a tremendous amount of room to spearhead your initiatives and contribute to others. YouÔÇÖll have an opportunity to have some incredible conversations with insightful individuals and be a part of an engaged and inclusive community.

The UBC Arts and Culture District educates and showcases student creatives and scholars, presents world-renowned performers, and is home to innovative public programs and international exhibitions. We also offer an annual Artivism Festival and International WomenÔÇÖs Day event.

We hold the creative and performing arts as core to deep disciplinary knowledge and applied research, and as the key to a fulfilled and connected life.

Our club at UBC explores Chinese, Korean, and Japanese culture and art through calligraphy and traditional brush painting.

Membership Benefits
Active club members can attend all club events (e.g. calligraphy workshops) for free.
Please note that our membership fee is $1.00 for one semester, payable at the end of our first workshop if you decide to join. (i.e., the first workshop is free)
Only Active AMS members shall be eligible to vote, sign Petitions, or be elected.
