Our mission is to enhance the value of the UBC Sauder School of Business Bachelor of Commerce degree while cultivating the personal, professional and academic success of students.

Membership Benefits
Members of the Commerce Undergraduate Society has access to over 250 events every year that support students' personal, professional and academic success. The Commerce Undergraduate Society also supports its members in career development through the Business Career Centre, mentorship programs, and leadership positions. Perks of being a member also includes access to the CUS' student benefits program, free coffee, locker rentals and room bookings.

The purpose of the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES) Student Society is to facilitate community building within and beyond IRES, plan professional development opportunities, and offer academic, wellness, and advocacy support for IRES graduate students. Founded in 1961, the Science Undergraduate Society aims to promote the academic, physical, & social wellbeing of Science Students

Supporting over 8206 Science Student and 32 Science clubs, every science student is a member of SUS. Through SUS, we aim to create and foster a sense of science community and continually promote good relations with other communities on campus.

The Abdul Lahda Science Student Centre is also the home of the Science Undergraduate Society. This building is open to ALL science students to freely hang, study, and eat lunch. We offer amenities such as meeting rooms for group study sessions, microwaves, and the "best water on campus". The ALSSC is located left next to the Hebb Lecture Theatre and directly across from the Nest.
